The Ferry Watch Inn boasts a rich and fascinating history dating back to the late 18th century. Lamberton Allen, the first settler of Grand Isle, built a log cabin on the property in the 1700s, and in 1790, Dr. Simeon Clark constructed the current house using handcrafted timber. The barn, a testament to skilled craftsmanship, was fully renovated in 2009.
