Our Team

Dr. Juanakee Adams, the founder and CEO of Adams Eye Care, has been serving the Birmingham community since 1981. She is a licensed optometrist and a licensed and ordained minister, committed to giving back to her community.

Ms. Lisa Butler Bishop, our skilled optician, has been working in the Birmingham area since 1979. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with our patients and ensuring their satisfaction with their eyewear.

Special Events

We believe in giving back to our community and regularly host special events, such as free vision screenings and drawing for free sunglasses. Our next event, "Start the Year Clear, " will be held on January 5th, 2007, from 11 am to 1 pm at our downtown office. We will provide free vision screenings for anyone and check intraocular pressure on patients over 40 during a comprehensive eye examination.
