Our Story

Weaver's Furniture Barn is a family-owned, multigenerational business deeply rooted in the heart of the local community. Our story began in the 1980s with James Weaver, who established a humble produce market specializing in homegrown sweet corn, cantaloupes, pumpkins, and other seasonal delights. We initially started small, selling our produce from a yard down the road from our current location. To diversify our offerings and cater to the community's needs, we began incorporating farm items and furniture, such as butter churns and traditional corner cabinets. As the demand for our handcrafted furniture grew, we recognized an opportunity to shift our focus.

In 1985, we took a bold step and purchased the old Halfway Tavern, transforming it into our first dedicated furniture store. Over the next decade, our passion for quality craftsmanship and customer service fueled our expansion. We steadily increased our showroom space to accommodate a wider selection of furniture, toys, and home decor, catering to the diverse tastes and needs of our growing clientele.
