Founder's Background

HensleyCPA was established by Joe Hensley, a Certified Public Accountant since 1980 and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in 1978. After starting his career at Ernst & Young in Atlanta, he returned to Ellijay, Georgia, where he worked for a local CPA firm and later acquired it, growing it into the largest firm in North Georgia with offices in Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and Jasper. Joe served as the managing partner for 20 years before selling the firm and venturing into telecommunications and residential community development. His diverse background in banking, auditing, and consulting has equipped him with the skills necessary to serve clients effectively in various capacities.
