Who We Are

Rainbow City Performing Arts (RCPA) is a vibrant and inclusive organization dedicated to promoting equity and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community in Seattle. We are a family of musicians, artists, and volunteers who come together to create a diverse and welcoming environment for musical expression. Our mission is to provide a safe space for musicians to perform, learn, and grow while promoting the causes of social justice and equality.

Our Services

As a performance-based organization, we offer a range of services and programs that aim to promote the LGBTQIA+ community and foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity. Our services include:

• Performance Ensembles: We have seven performance ensembles that cater to different musical tastes and styles, including concert band, orchestra, jazz band, marching band, drumline, color guard, and chamber ensembles.
• Member Benefits: We offer a range of benefits to our members, including instrument loans, membership dues, and scholarship funds.
• Community Outreach: We collaborate with other non-profit organizations, companies, and performance partners to promote our mission and values.
• Education and Outreach: We provide educational programs and events that focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and promote the LGBTQIA+ community through music and art.
