The Eastern Sierra Foundation stands as a beacon of opportunity, dedicated to fostering a thriving and educated community in the Eastern Sierra region. Since its inception, the Foundation has proudly supported the academic pursuits of local students and enhanced the academic environment of the Bishop campus of Cerro Coso Community College.

Supporting Student Success

Our primary focus lies in enriching the lives of students through scholarships and other initiatives. Each year, we award over 60 scholarships to deserving Cerro Coso Community College Bishop Campus students, empowering them to pursue their educational goals. Additionally, our recent initiative, "The Signature Program, " provides a full ride scholarship to deserving Inyo County students, encouraging them to embark on their educational journeys.

Strengthening the Community

Beyond supporting individual students, we actively seek partnerships that benefit the entire community. In collaboration with The Job Spot Programs, we established the Job Spot Benefit Fund, allocating $100,000 annually to support vital adult education programs in Inyo County. We believe in nurturing a well-rounded community, where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
