Our center was established 50 years ago by Calvary Church, with the mission to provide a high-quality preschool and kindergarten program for children in the surrounding communities. Our experienced and caring staff is committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters growth, learning, and development. We hope to continue serving families and bringing joy to children for many years to come.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a solid, quality education for your children within an encouraging, fun, and safe environment. We strive to create a space where children feel comfortable and supported, allowing them to explore their interests, develop their skills, and build a strong foundation for future learning. Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of each child, offering age-appropriate activities and materials that promote growth in all areas.

Who We Are

Calvary Preschool Center is a ministry of Calvary Church and a religious, non-profit charitable organization. While church doctrine is not part of our curriculum, we integrate basic Christian philosophy into the children's daily routine. This includes Bible stories, songs, and simple prayers, which provide a moral and ethical framework for children to learn and grow. Our program is licensed by the Department of Human Services and registered with the Department of Education as a private school. We are proud to employ qualified teachers who meet the Pennsylvania State Standards in Early Education. Additionally, our staff participates in annual educational seminars to ensure that we continue to provide competitive and engaging preschool and Kindergarten curriculum.

Programs Offered

At Calvary Preschool Center, we offer a range of programs to accommodate the diverse needs and interests of children and families. Our programs include:

• Kindergarten: Our Kindergarten program is designed to prepare children for a successful transition to elementary school. Our curriculum includes reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, as well as art, music, and physical education.
• Pre-K: Our Pre-K program is designed to build on the foundational skills and knowledge that children acquire in our preschool program. Our curriculum covers language development, literacy, math, science, and social studies, and includes activities that promote creativity, imagination, and self-expression.
• Preschool (3s): Our Preschool program for 3-year-olds is focused on building social skills, language development, and independence. Our curriculum includes activities that promote exploration, hands-on learning, and creativity.
• Older Toddler: Our Older Toddler program is designed for children who are between 24 and 36 months old. Our curriculum includes activities that promote language development, physical coordination, and social skills.
• Young Toddler: Our Young Toddler program is designed for children who are between 18 and 24 months old. Our curriculum includes activities that promote exploration, discovery, and social interaction.
• Infant: Our Infant program is designed for children who are between 6 weeks and 18 months old. Our curriculum includes activities that promote sensory exploration, language development, and physical coordination.
