Our Story
Fort McClellan Credit Union (FMCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that was chartered in 1953. Initially organized to serve military and civilian personnel stationed at Fort McClellan, Alabama, FMCU has since expanded its membership to include employee and association groups and residents of several surrounding counties.
As a cooperative, FMCU operates under the principle of "people helping people, " focusing on providing financial services that cater to the needs of its members. The credit union has been dedicated to serving its community for over six decades, offering a range of financial products and services that aim to improve the financial well-being of its members.
Membership
FMCU's membership base includes a diverse group of individuals and organizations. Membership is open to military and civilian personnel, their families, and retirees of Fort McClellan, as well as employees of various businesses and associations in the surrounding area.
