At Nehalem Bay Winery, we believe that wine is more than just a drink - it's a way to bring people together and create unforgettable memories. With over 47 years of experience, we have established ourselves as one of Oregon's oldest and most esteemed wineries, offering a wide selection of traditional white and red varietals, as well as a variety of fruit wines.
As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in our commitment to quality, community, and customer satisfaction. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and valued. We strive to create an atmosphere that is warm, inviting, and reflective of the beauty of the Oregon Coast.
Our Story
Nehalem Bay Winery was founded in 1974 in the historic Mohler Creamery building near the coastal town of Nehalem. Initially, our focus was on producing a variety of fruit wines, with Oregon Blackberry being the first wine bottled and released on April 1, 1974. Over the years, we expanded our production to include traditional white and red wines, made from celebrated world-class fruit from the Willamette Valley.
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to enhance your wine experience. Our tasting room is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm, where you can indulge in a flight of five pours for just $10, or enjoy a complimentary tasting with the purchase of a bottle of wine. We also offer online ordering and shipping to most states, making it easy to enjoy our wines from the comfort of your own home.
In addition to our exceptional wine selection, we host various events and activities throughout the year, including concerts, weddings, and special events. Our Theatre Au Vin, located in Nehalem, is a popular venue for author readings, poetry performances, and even film screenings.
Our Locations
We have two locations to serve you: our original location in Nehalem and our second location in Depoe Bay on the Central Coast. Both locations offer stunning views, unique experiences, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our Depoe Bay location is particularly popular, with its epic sunset views, whale sightings, and storm watching opportunities in the winter.
