Our Story

As a licensed massage therapist and bodyworker, I, Judy Silcock, have dedicated my career to providing exceptional massage and bodywork services for over 35 years. My journey began in 1969 when I learned Esalen Massage in Big Sur, California. Since then, I have continued to expand my skills through apprenticeships, studying with various practitioners, and attending annual continuing education courses. My passion for staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and advancements in massage and bodywork has enabled me to provide the best services to my clients.

My practice specializes in more clinical type modalities, targeting people with postural distortions, pain dysfunctions from various causes, repetitive syndromes, back, head, and neck conditions. I also offer energy-type modalities and somato-emotional support. Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, improving posture, or simply relaxing and rejuvenating, I am dedicated to providing tailored massage and bodywork services to meet your unique needs.

Continuing Education and Certification

I believe that ongoing education is essential to provide exceptional services. Over the years, I have taken numerous continuing education seminars, including courses with renowned professionals such as John Barnes in Myofascial Release and Taum Sayers in The Berry Method of Corrective Massage for Shoulder, Wrist, and Hand Problems. I am proud to hold a "Professional Specialty Certification" in Spinal Reflex Therapy, which enables me to focus on existing spinal patterns, addressing pain and symptoms in the body.

In 2011, I was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, a prestigious credentialing organization promoting excellence in the field of massage therapy. I also hold a "BOARD CERTIFICATION" from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, demonstrating a higher level of professionalism and conduct. As of March 22, 2013, I have become "BOARD CERTIFIED" through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

As of April 2013, I am licensed in the state of Idaho, listed as LMT. I hold various certifications and diplomas from reputable institutions, including Magic Valley Massotherapy Institute in Buhl, Idaho. My credentials and experience ensure that you receive the highest level of care and treatment.

Rates and Scheduling

My rates are competitively priced, with options to suit your needs. For in-office sessions, my rates are as follows: 1 hour ($60), 1 1/2 hours ($90), and 2 hours ($120). Gift certificates and senior discounts are available upon request. For home visits, rates vary depending on distance, typically ranging from $75 to $125. Special appointment times can be made depending on availability.
