Welcome to Stoneybrook Psychotherapy Services, where we strive to provide quality mental health services in a caring and compassionate environment. Founded by Dr. Stella Hongola, our goal is to help individuals, teens, and families navigate through life's challenges. We are conveniently located in Clarksburg, serving Montgomery and Frederick counties, including Urbana, Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Damascus. Our services include individual therapy, teens and families therapy, and insurance options. We are also part of PSYPACT, allowing us to provide virtual therapy to clients across state lines in PSYPACT states.

Dr. Stella Hongola

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with an unwavering enthusiasm for understanding the human condition. My background includes working as a staff psychologist for Counseling Services at Gettysburg College and specializing in working with sexual assault survivors. I have also completed advanced training in working with PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders, and relationship concerns and couples. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, interpersonal, CBT, and mindfulness techniques to create a safe and accepting space for clients.

Services

Our services include individual therapy, which focuses on relief from emotional distress, finding solutions to issues, and changing thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs. We also offer therapy for teens and families, where we explore and work through common issues related to identity development, academic struggles, and complex relationships. Additionally, we provide insurance options and participate in PSYPACT for virtual therapy services.

Insurance

We are in network with several insurance providers, including BCBS plans and Cigna. For out-of-network clients, we can submit claims directly to your insurance. Our out-of-network fee is $190 for the initial evaluation and $170 for on-going psychotherapy sessions.
