New System Bakery has been proudly serving the Chillicothe, Ohio community since 1920. Our bakery started as a franchised store, known for its new style of baking with rotating ovens. Over the years, we have become a beloved local institution, passed down through generations of the Newton and Hatfield families.

That's why we start each day at 2:30 am, making a fresh batch of dough for our famous donuts, cookies, pastries, and more. Our team of skilled bakers and decorators work tirelessly to ensure that each item meets our high standards of quality and freshness.

Our Signature Baked Goods

While we offer a wide variety of baked goods, there are a few items that our customers can't seem to get enough of. Here are some of our signature items:

• Donuts: Our Bismarks are a customer favorite, but we offer many other varieties including glazed, cinnamon, twist, cream sticks, pecan rolls, and more.
• Cookies: We are known for our Iced Butter Cookies, which are available year-round and topped with seasonal candies. We also offer a variety of everyday case cookies such as butterscotch, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and more.
• Pastries: From our fresh morning muffins to our rich fudge brownies, we have a pastry for every taste preference. Don't forget to try our whoopee pies, filled with our homemade Bismark cream and topped with fudge icing.
• Pies and Tarts: We offer a variety of fruit pies and tarts made fresh daily. Cream pies and tarts are available by order, including coconut cream and lemon cream.
• Cakes: We offer birthday cakes in a variety of sizes and flavors, including vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry, and more. Our cakes are simply decorated with traditional white icing, writing of your choice, roses, and top and bottom borders.

Our Bakery Cafe

In addition to our baked goods, we also offer a variety of lunch options at our Bakery Cafe. Whether you're in the mood for a sandwich, salad, or soup, we have something to satisfy your appetite. Our cafe is open for both dine-in and carry-out service.
