Whitman Masonry is one of North Carolina's oldest and most experienced commercial masonry contractors. With a rich history dating back to 1965, we have built our reputation on quality workmanship, one brick at a time. As a veteran and family-owned company, we take pride in building long-term relationships with our clients and trade partners.

Whitman Masonry has a rich history, and we honor our past while looking forward to the future. Johnny M (Mackie) Whitman started Whitman Masonry in 1965 on his 21st birthday in Benson, NC. The company performed residential masonry in its early years in Wake and Johnston County, evolving into commercial work in the 1980s. Mackie's Dad, his two brothers, one son, and one grandson have all worked for the company over the years. His son, Connie, is still working for Whitman Masonry after 43 years.

Our Services

Whitman Masonry offers comprehensive commercial masonry services, including estimating, planning, design, material sourcing, project management, installation, and repair. We work with a variety of materials such as brick, block, natural, and architectural stone. Our experienced professionals have worked on projects for many industries including government, healthcare, higher education, pharmaceutical, industrial, retail, and restoration, among others. We have worked for 70% of the Top 25 General Contractors in the Triangle.

We are committed to providing continuing education and safety training to our employees, which enables us to deliver a superior product to our customers.
