A Company Built Upon a Solid Foundation Lou Moretzsohn and Jack Barnes, two roofing salesmen, founded J&L Building Materials, Inc. in 1958. Over 65 years later, the company is one of the region's largest and most respected distributors. With eight branches throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware, J&L is ready to serve you. Today, Lou's granddaughter Emma Moretzsohn runs J&L Building Materials in the family tradition of quality materials and outstanding service.

Our Leadership Team

Emma Moretzsohn, President, leads the company alongside a dedicated team of professionals, including Chad Laukhuff, Vice President of Operations, Bill McKee, Vice President of Purchasing, Susan Angel, Director of HR, Jim Savant, Vice President of Sales, and Leigh Anne La, Vice President of Finance. Each member brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the industry, ensuring that J&L remains a trusted partner for contractors and homeowners alike.
