NuLEDs, a pioneer in the low-voltage LED lighting and control technology, was founded in 2011 by a team of experts with a rich background in the industry. Our story began with humble beginnings, debuting in the home automation industry with established partners like Crestron, Savant, and Control 4. As we expanded our control capabilities to include Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), we accelerated our growth, and in 2012, we delivered the first-ever PoE lighting system to Cisco.

Our Journey

Our journey has been marked by numerous milestones, from outfitting Cisco labs and demo areas to supplying PoE lighting systems to customers such as Independence Blue Cross, Miami Dade School District, and Dart Container. We have also had the privilege of working with esteemed institutions like the University of Glasgow, London, and Dubai. Our latest development is our acquisition by Springs Window Fashions in 2022, solidifying our position in the industry.

Our Technology

Our NuSPICE Architecture consists of the NuLEDs SPICEbox, peripheral wall controllers, and sensors, and management software on a standard IEEE network. Our PoE control module, the SPICEbox, is a network device with a unique MAC address and IP address, providing multi-channel control for separate lighting loads, including color mixing.

The future of LED lighting has arrived with the NuLEDs SPICEbox, the PoE Control Module that delivers the power and management capabilities to your LED fixtures. Each SPICEbox can serve as a sensor host for wall switches, PIR sensors, ambient light sensors, or other sensors. With a load capacity of 4 channels, the control module can provide RGBW or 4 channels of a single color to any lighting environment. Whether you desire to create a customized lighting atmosphere or optimize energy efficiency, our technology is designed to deliver.
