Perry Park Pre-School

Perry Park Preschool is a nurturing and stimulating early childhood learning environment dedicated to providing a high-quality educational experience for children ages 2.10 to 5. As an educational mission of the Groveland Congregational Church, we have been serving families in the community since 1973, upholding a rich tradition of excellence in early childhood care and education. We proudly offer a flexible and responsive program designed to meet the diverse needs of each child and family.

Our Philosophy

At Perry Park Preschool, we believe in fostering a love for learning through play-based exploration and discovery. Our curriculum is designed to nurture children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. We create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where children feel valued, respected, and empowered to learn and grow at their own pace. We recognize that every child is unique and approaches learning in different ways. Our dedicated team of teachers is committed to providing individualized attention and support to ensure that each child reaches their full potential.

Our Programs

We offer morning sessions that meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Families have the flexibility to choose from attending 2, 3, or 4 mornings per week, tailoring the program to fit their individual needs. Our program begins in September and runs until early June, allowing children to engage in a full and enriching academic year. Children must be 2 years and 9 months old by August 31st to be eligible for our program.

Curriculum and Learning Experiences

Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, interactive, and developmentally appropriate. We use a play-based approach that encourages children to explore, experiment, and learn through hands-on activities, creative expression, and social interaction. Our daily schedule includes a variety of activities, such as circle time, story time, music and movement, artistic exploration, outdoor play, and center-based activities that focus on literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.

We strive to create a learning environment that is both fun and educational, where children are excited to come to school each day and enthusiastically engage in the learning process.
