At Big Elm Rehabilitation and Living Center, we strive to be the facility of choice for seniors in Cabarrus, Rowan, and surrounding counties. We understand the importance of providing a full continuum of care, which is why we offer a range of services, from rehabilitation and skilled nursing care to assisted living services. This allows our residents to have a smooth transition as their care needs arise.

Our Services

Our skilled nursing facility has 50 certified beds, with 24-hour care and a 20-bed rehabilitation unit and 30-bed long-term care unit. Our assisted living facility offers 80 beds, with 24-hour nursing supervision and assistance with daily living activities. We also provide Hospice care for those in need of extensive nursing services. Our caring and professional staff are dedicated to working in partnership with our families to make the transition as smooth as possible.

What Sets Us Apart

We are a family-owned facility, which means you will actually be able to see and talk with the owner of the facility. Our small size allows us to closely monitor our residents with good staffing ratios and shorter hallways, creating a safe and quaint environment. Our therapy department is designed to help many of our residents return home after a short stay. Both of our facilities provide 24-hour nursing supervision and daily activities, with flexible visiting hours to ensure you can spend time with your loved one.
