At True Art Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, our mission is to provide a positive and professional training environment for Jiu Jitsu athletes of all ages and skill levels. Our academy was founded in 2018 by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, Shannon White, who has a deep passion for sharing the benefits of this martial art with others.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to cater to the needs of our students. Our Kids Classes are designed for children aged 7-12 years old, who will learn fundamental Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu concepts and skills to prepare them for more advanced training later on. In our Adult Classes, students of all skill levels are welcome to join, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Our classes are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, with a focus on building confidence, improving technique, and promoting a sense of community and camaraderie.

Our Team

Our team is led by Professor Shannon White, a dedicated and experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner who has been training since 2009. Shannon has competed at the highest levels, holding multiple championships in various grappling tournaments, and has earned his black belt under Mark Vives, owner of the New Breed Training Center. Shannon's passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is unwavering, and he is committed to sharing his knowledge and skills with others.

Our academy is conveniently located at 2855 West Market St. Suite 218, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333, making it easily accessible by car or public transportation. Our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the necessary training equipment to ensure a safe and effective training experience.
