Sell Farms

Sell Farms & Greenhouses has been a staple in the local farming community since its inception in 1992. Starting as a small, family-owned business, we have grown over the years to encompass a large 12,500 square foot greenhouse, a sales barn, and a wide variety of plants and gardening materials. Located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, we offer annuals, bedding plants, herbs, and vegetable plants, as well as a vast selection of perennials and hanging baskets.

Our journey began with a single wooden greenhouse, where we grew our plants and sold them primarily at local farmer's markets. As the demand for our plants grew, we added more greenhouses and began selling directly from the farm in 1996. In 1998, we removed the small wooden greenhouses to make way for our large, state-of-the-art greenhouse. We continued to sell our plants from a large tent until 2011, when we opened our new sales barn. We are proud of the gradual improvements we have made over the years and hope that you enjoy them as well.

Our Specialties

At Sell Farms & Greenhouses, we specialize in perennial plants and hanging baskets. We grow over 300 varieties of perennials, including rose bushes, hydrangeas, hostas, daylilies, ornamental grasses, iris, and more. Our selection of hanging baskets is unparalleled in the area, offering a wide range of colors, textures, and plant varieties.

In addition to our perennials and hanging baskets, we offer a great selection of annuals, including impatiens, geraniums, petunias, marigolds, zinnias, and salvia. We also carry a wide variety of vegetables, including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and more. Our plant selection is constantly changing, so be sure to check back often for new arrivals.

Our Services

At Sell Farms & Greenhouses, we offer a variety of services to help you with all of your gardening needs. We are open mid-April through July and offer a wide range of plants and gardening materials for sale. We are happy to offer advice and recommendations for your garden, and our knowledgeable staff is always available to answer any questions you may have.

In addition to our in-person sales, we also offer online ordering and curbside pickup. Simply browse our online shop, place your order, and we'll have it ready for you to pick up at your convenience.
