McIntosh Mental Health is a small specialty clinic located in Lewiston, Idaho, dedicated to providing expert mental health services in a welcoming and easy-to-navigate setting. Our primary goal is to ensure that our patients experience a straightforward and transparent process when beginning counseling or coaching services. By maintaining an independent practice, we are able to keep our focus on the patient and provide the highest level of care possible in an outpatient setting, with the flexibility to customize services to each patient's unique needs.
Our Services
We believe in creating a unique therapy for every patient based on your strengths, goals, and reasons for entering into treatment. We utilize evidence-based and best-practice treatments in an eclectic style to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our team works with a large variety of mental health issues, with current specialties including working with complex trauma disorders and experiences of adjustment to achieve life satisfaction. We also treat all varieties of mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and anxiety disorders. Additionally, we offer customizable coaching services, as well as clinical supervision for other professionals.
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy provides the opportunity to work directly with a therapist on goals you identify. This process begins with a formal assessment of your symptoms and functioning, and continues to work towards identified goals. This service can be covered by insurance benefits or paid for out-of-pocket.
Couples Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy for couples provides the opportunity for you to engage in formal psychotherapy while having the additional benefit of including your significant other. To begin couples therapy, a formal assessment is completed to assess your symptoms and functioning, then a treatment plan will be formulated to determine goals of working together on your symptoms as well as your relationship. This service can be covered by insurance benefits or paid for out-of-pocket.

Our team members have diverse experiences and specialized training in various areas of mental health, including complex trauma disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, and more. Each member of our team is committed to creating a unique therapy for every patient, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible outcomes.
Brandon McIntosh, LCSW, ACS
Brandon has over twelve years of experience providing direct patient care in mental health services. With diverse experiences working with families, working in a forensic environment, and supervising a hospital-affiliated community mental health clinic, Brandon is independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Idaho and is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor to provide supervision to other therapists. Brandon completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with emphasis in chemical addictions and communication from the University of Idaho in 2009; then completed a Master of Social Work with emphasis on mental health from Eastern Washington University in 2011.
Michelle Fischer, LPC
Michelle has four years of experience working as a Licensed Professional Counselor and over five years of experience working within the helping professions. Michelle completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho in 2016; then completed a Master of Science, Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in 2020. Michelle has experience providing in-person and telehealth counseling services to a diverse population of kids, teens, families, and adults. Michelle has extensive training and experience in working within the areas of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationships, autism, and LGBT+ issues.
Kiesha Ade, LMSW
Kiesha has over four years of experience working in client support services with the YWCA and the State of Washington, as well as working as a Designated Crisis Responder within the state of Washington. Kiesha completed a Bachelor of Social Work from Lewis-Clark State College in 2020 and completed a Master of Social Work from Idaho State University in 2023. She is joining McIntosh Mental Health to provide outpatient therapy services beginning in May. We are currently accepting new patients to work with Kiesha beginning in May, so if you are interested, please call in to be placed on the waitlist for scheduling in May/June.
