Northland Counseling Center

Northland Counseling Center, located in International Falls, has been providing mental health services to the community since 1959. Our mission is to promote hope and recovery through mutual respect, trust, and empowerment. We have recently moved into our new facility and are eager to continue growing and delivering services to Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, and surrounding counties.

Our community mental health center offers a broad range of outpatient mental health services, including assessment, evaluations, and testing; individual, couples, family, and group therapy for the general public; as well as specialized services for individuals with serious and persistent mental health issues. One of the advantages of our services is our interdisciplinary case consultation model, which ensures that clinicians receive feedback and suggestions from other professionals within the agency.

We have served a diverse cross-section of community members of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our licensed, friendly, and highly trained staff members are committed to continuing this provision of quality mental health services to our community for years to come.

Services Offered

Our services include individual therapy, family counseling, group therapy, and specialized programs for adults and children. We also offer mobile crisis response services and a behavioral health home (BHH). Our programs are designed to address a range of mental health issues, from general mental health concerns to more serious and persistent mental health issues.
