Village Designs & Remodeling was founded by Gene Cherrnay, a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience in the kitchen and bathroom design and remodeling industry. Gene's architectural foundation, gained from his studies at the New York Institute of Technology, coupled with his hands-on experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, provides a unique blend of design expertise and practical knowledge that distinguishes Village Designs & Remodeling.
Gene's journey began in the prestigious Park Cities, where he honed his skills at Brad Pence Company, later becoming Bentwood Kitchens. There, he managed the upscale Dallas showroom and delighted in bringing clients' dream kitchens to life through thoughtful design and meticulous execution. Several of his remarkable projects even graced the pages of D Magazine.
His expertise extended beyond individual projects as he transitioned to a decade-long career in regional sales and marketing for KraftMaid Cabinetry. This chapter cultivated his in-depth understanding of semi-custom cabinetry, further enriching his toolkit for creating tailored kitchen solutions.
Driven by a desire to be closer to family, Gene relocated to Lewisville and found himself immersed in the world of custom cabinetry at Morrow Custom Cabinets, a multi-million-dollar manufacturer. Here, his responsibilities encompassed overseeing all aspects of remodeling projects, from the initial design phase to the final completion, ensuring a seamless and successful experience for each client.
