Brownstone Dermatology Associates was established in 2006 by Dr. Christine Cassel with the mission of blending the science of treating skin conditions with a welcoming, comfortable environment. Our location, the Historic Walton Manor, was built in 1889 and has been meticulously restored to preserve local history and offer a soothing setting for our patients. The exterior paint colors replicate the original Victorian hues, while etched ruby glass windows lend a calming ambiance indoors.

A Commitment to Personalized Care

We pride ourselves on offering superior personalized care to all of our patients. Our dedicated and discreet staff consistently deliver exceptional services to discerning patients. We provide state-of-the-art dermatological treatments and aesthetic services in a refined and comfortable setting. Patients flock to us from across the United States, Canada, and South America, with regular visits from those residing in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, and Washington DC.

Facilities and Accessibility

Our beautiful offices are located in the Historic Walton Manor, allowing patients a unique experience. When you visit, we encourage you to bring a complete list of medications and allergies. If your insurance requires prior authorization, kindly ensure that the forms are presented to us before or during your appointment. It remains your responsibility to obtain necessary referrals. Please note that if you do not provide the required referral at the time of service, a waiver will be offered for you to sign, transferring financial responsibility directly to you.

Insurance and Payments

Your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. We ask that you acknowledge and accept financial responsibility for any deductibles, co-insurances, or non-covered services. Insurance coverage can be uncertain, and we cannot guarantee services that will be covered by your particular plan. To that end, we ask you to sign an authorization form that allows us to bill your insurance company directly when appropriate. Co-payments are required at the time of service. We are pleased to accept various forms of payment, including personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and cash.

Additional Policies

A no-show fee of $50.00 will be charged to patients who miss appointments without prior notice of cancellation within the required 24-hour window. Surgical specimens are sent to a lab for analysis, and the fee for these tests is billed separately by the processing lab. Pathology results are typically available within 7-10 business days following the procedure. Prescription refill requests will only be considered during normal business hours.
