Our History

Turman Lumber Company has been in operation since 1979 and is a part of The Turman Group. Our sawmill produces an average of 120,000 BF per day of quality Appalachian lumber, and with our recent acquisition of Turman Lumber-Salem, we have increased our kiln capacity to 600,000 BFT and 1.2 million BFT pre-dryer, producing various thicknesses of kiln-dried lumber for domestic and export markets.
