Expert Music Lessons & Instrument Rentals in Bellingham
Bellingham Music began its journey in 1983 as Harris Music, initially operating in downtown Fairhaven. As the premier destination for quality acoustic instruments and guitar instruction, the business relocated to North State Street in Bellingham, prompting a name change to Bellingham Music. This new, larger location enabled the expansion of inventory and the introduction of additional music lesson offerings, with the school portion rebranded as the Bellingham Academy of Music. In 2009, the company moved to its current State & Champion Streets location, solidifying its role as a vital resource for the musical community in Whatcom County.Following a change in ownership in 2016, the business continues its commitment to providing quality acoustic string instruments while broadening its inventory to include winds, orchestral instruments, and unique offerings. The company prioritizes maintaining a convenient and valuable presence in the local music scene. With decades of experience, Bellingham Music combines historical expertise with ongoing adaptation to meet evolving customer needs. The business emphasizes transparency in operations, a client-centric approach to music education, and adherence to professional standards in instrument quality and lesson instruction.
