Bridge

Our Bridge Division has focused on delivering a quality product to our customers since 1964. We prioritize completing projects safely, on time, and on budget. Our main areas of focus include Bridge Deck Repair, Accelerated Construction Methods (ABC), Bridge Deck Overlay, Modular Expansion Joint Replacement, Bridge Widening, Concrete Repair, Substructure Modification, and New Structures.

Our Projects

Our bridge projects include Bridge Deck Replacement, Bridge Expansion Joints, and more. We have worked with clients such as the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), The Corps of Engineers, and Multiple Tennessee County Highway Executives.

Geothermal

Mid-State Construction's geothermal division began in 1997 with an unusual request for quote from a contractor in Georgia to drill a grid of thirty boreholes three hundred feet deep. Since that chance encounter, our geothermal division has experienced tremendous growth. We've completed over 100 geothermal HEF installations totaling over 4.4 million vertical feet (833 miles) of vertical bore hole drilling. Our geothermal services include geothermal test boring and thermal conductivity testing, vertical, horizontal and lake loop geothermal heat exchange field (HEF) installations, and design-build turnkey geothermal HEF installations.
