Our story began over 30 years ago, when Dr. Kenneth Ness, the owner of Dassel Dental, purchased the practice and took over as the dentist. Dr. Ness has a deep passion for providing the highest standard of dental care to rural areas, and he has dedicated his career to making sure that every patient receives the best possible care.

Meet Your Dassel Dentists

Dr. Charles Toews is one of the dentist owners of Dassel Dental. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and minor in mathematics from college, and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Loma Linda University in California. With a passion for serving his patients and a caring demeanor, Dr. Toews is a beloved member of our team.

Dr. Kenneth Ness, the other dentist owner, has roots in the Dassel area and graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School. He also earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Physiology from the University of Minnesota, and later completed his graduate degree in dentistry there. With a love to learn, he completed additional training in laser applications for dentistry. Growing up as a patient of Dassel Dental, it was a dream come true when he had the opportunity to purchase the practice after dental school.
