At 540 Taekwondo, we pride ourselves on being not just a martial arts academy, but a community that fosters growth, discipline, and self-improvement. Our Master and Instructors are highly knowledgeable in the art of Taekwondo and are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for each of our students.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and systematic training program that enhances our students' physical and mental well-being, while also teaching valuable life skills such as discipline, focus, and self-confidence. We believe that Taekwondo is not just a physical activity, but a way of life that promotes harmony, inner peace, and a strong sense of self.

What is Taekwondo?

Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art that emphasizes the development of the mind, body, and spirit. It is a comprehensive system of self-defense, exercise, and philosophy that combines physical techniques with moral principles. As a martial art, Taekwondo aims to improve the physical and mental well-being of its practitioners, while also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among its students and instructors.

Our Programs

At 540 Taekwondo, we offer a range of programs designed to cater to students of all ages and skill levels. Our programs include:

  • Little Lions: Our program for youngest students aged 4-6 years old.
  • Juniors: Our program for students aged 7-12 years old.
  • Teens & Adults: Our program for students aged 13 years and older.

Our Tenets

Our training is based on the five tenets of Taekwondo, which are:

  • Courtesy: Showing respect and politeness towards others.
  • Integrity: Honesty and morality in thought, word, and deed.
  • Perseverance: Overcoming obstacles and challenges with determination and resolve.
  • Self-Control: Managing one's emotions and actions in a responsible and considerate manner.
  • Indomitable Spirit: Maintaining a strong will and unwavering determination in the face of adversity.

Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in the art of Taekwondo. They are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for each of our students.

Hours of Operation

We are open Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.
