Nestled on the beautiful chalk bluffs of the Tombigbee River in southern Sumter County, our venue boasts stunning natural surroundings and a serene atmosphere that will take your breath away. The Chapel at Mimosa Ridge

Our wedding chapel is located just one hour from Meridian, Mississippi, 90 minutes from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 45 minutes from Demopolis or just 30 minutes from Livingston. The chapel can accommodate up to 150 guests and features a private bridal suite and groom's dressing room, allowing the wedding party to prepare in comfort and style. The bride will make a grand entrance through double ring, eight-foot doors onto a marble floor, leading to the altar. The gazebo, situated sixty feet above the chalk bluffs of the Tombigbee River, is also an option for an outdoor ceremony with a breathtaking view.

Reception and Event Spaces

Our covered reception area, overlooking the river, is beautifully floored with gray cobblestone and features a custom cedar ceiling. It can accommodate up to 200 guests and is the perfect space for your reception, corporate event, or any other special occasion. We also offer a variety of catering options to suit your taste and budget.

Lodging

Mimosa Ridge offers on-site lodging within walking distance to the chapel. Our six cabins range in size and can accommodate up to 40 people, making it convenient for the wedding party or close family to stay together during the wedding weekend. Most cabins have a waterfront view, and all are within a few feet of the river itself. Each cabin is centrally heated and cooled, features hardwood and ceramic floors, private decks, full kitchens, satellite TV, WiFi, and fresh air. Our one-bedroom cabins feature one king-sized bed and a blow-up mattress, while our two-story two-bedroom cabins feature one king-sized bed in the master, two full-sized beds in the second bedroom, and a blow-up mattress. Our three-bedroom cabin features a queen bed in the master, a queen in the second bedroom, and a blow-up mattress.

Wedding Packages

We offer a variety of wedding packages that can be customized to suit your specific needs and budget. Our packages include the use of the chapel, reception area, lodging, and catering options. We also offer rehearsal dinner and reception menus to make planning your event even easier.
