Our Team

Meet Alan Strickland, who grew up in the building industry. Alan started working with his dad at a young age and has since honed his skills in various roles, including framing crew work. He co-founded Strickland Homes with his dad and has since brought on Lorraine Carter as his business partner. Alan lives in Suffolk with his wife Lori and their three adolescent children. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, riding his dual sport adventure bike, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Lorraine M. Carter, Design Project Manager

Lorraine has been in the building industry for over 30 years, with a wide range of experience including building materials buyer, general contractor, and interior designer. She is known for her exceptional design skills, having won numerous design awards. Her attention to detail and ability to bring clients' home dreams to life make her an invaluable part of our team.

Our Process

At Strickland Homes, our process is simple yet effective. We begin by helping you select your lot, set a budget, and choose a plan. Once you've made these decisions, we'll handle all the work, keeping you updated throughout the process. When the construction is complete, we'll guide you through a final walkthrough before you move in. Our goal is to make the home-building process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
