Services
Potash Production
As the world's largest potash producer, we operate six low-cost mines in Saskatchewan with 20.6 million tonnes of annual capacity. Our automated mining operations leverage tele-remote technology to enhance safety and efficiency while maintaining 5,800 railcars and four marine terminals for global distribution. This essential crop nutrient improves root strength, water efficiency, and disease resistance in plants.
Nitrogen Production
We rank third globally in nitrogen production with 7.3 million tonnes of annual ammonia capacity across facilities in Canada, the US, and Trinidad. Our diversified network utilizes natural gas resources to create fertilizers that enhance protein synthesis in crops while serving industrial applications through urea, nitric acid, and ammonium nitrate products.
Phosphate Production
As North America's second-largest phosphate producer, we convert mined phosphate rock into purified phosphoric acid through sulfuric acid processing. Our products support energy transfer in plants and skeletal development in livestock while serving industrial applications in food additives and metal treatments across two integrated facilities.
Retail Distribution
Our 1,900+ retail locations across seven countries provide farmers with complete agricultural solutions including seed, crop protection, and digital tools. With over 4,500 crop consultants, we offer on-site storage, application equipment, and agronomic advice to optimize yields while maintaining North America's largest fertilizer distribution infrastructure.
Sustainable Agriculture
We develop farm management solutions that balance productivity with environmental responsibility through 4R Nutrient Stewardship practices. Our enhanced efficiency fertilizers reduce greenhouse gas emissions while biostimulants improve nutrient uptake. In Australia, our Fertcare program provides training to optimize productivity and minimize environmental risks associated with fertilizer use.
