Cadillac Fabrication was established in 1983 by Tom Bosscher, who recognized the need for a custom "job shop" in the Cadillac, Michigan area that could manage fabrication jobs of all scales, not just smaller welding tasks. Tom, a creative individual who grew up on a family farm, honed his welding skills out of necessity and became adept at quickly resolving problems. He was passionate about imparting his knowledge of welding and fabrication to future generations of contractors in the region.

From its modest beginnings with various shop locations and employees, Cadillac Fabrication has evolved into one of the area's leading fabrication facilities. With a diverse range of work similar to any "big city" fabrication company, Cadillac Fabrication has always prioritized quality and "problem-solving engineering." In 2014, a management team was put in place to assist Tom with day-to-day business operations. This team has propelled the company forward with a focus on safety, employee engagement, and growth. Cadillac Fabrication has expanded from a workforce of two to a team of over 30 employees, experiencing growth not only in size but also in capabilities. The addition of monthly team meetings and employee input has further cultivated our unique culture.
