Our Mission

At Connect Speech Therapy Inc., our mission is to provide high-quality, patient-centered communication therapy services to children of all ages who struggle with speech, language, social communication, fluency, literacy, and swallowing. We recognize that every child is unique, and our experienced and compassionate speech language pathologist, Jolene Rocchio, takes a collaborative approach with families and other professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that address the individual needs of each child.

Meet Jolene Rocchio, M.S., CCC-SLP

As a parent of a child with a language disorder and a seasoned clinician, Jolene has a deep understanding of the importance of effective communication. With a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from San Francisco State University, Jolene has extensive experience working with children in various settings, including medical and school settings. Her expertise lies in analyzing assessment data to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, helping parents navigate insurance billing, and providing step-by-step action plans for achieving the best results for their child.

Initial Screening and Assessment

We begin by conducting an initial phone conversation or screening at your child's school to determine if an assessment is necessary and identify the specific areas of communication that require evaluation.

Diagnostic Evaluation

Our diagnostic evaluation session combines formal and informal tools, unstructured play, and parent feedback to capture your child's strengths and challenges.

Individualized Treatment Plan

Based on your child's learning profile, we develop a treatment plan that includes specific, measurable goals designed to improve speech or language delays identified.

Data-Driven Therapy

In each therapy session, we collect and analyze data to determine your child's progress and responsiveness to therapy. We utilize research-based techniques and goal-directed play to maintain your child's engagement and increase learning opportunities.

Progress Meetings

Quarterly, Jolene meets with parents to review your child's progress, go over treatment plans, and discuss the path to success.

Home Carryover

We provide ongoing resources and step-by-step instructions for parents and teachers to support their child's communication development outside of therapy sessions.
