Our Story

Our journey began in 2001 when our founders, John and Ana London, met while serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Bliss, TX. It was during this time that they discovered their passion for magic and balloon twisting. After serving in the military, they moved to San Diego, where John worked as a magician on the weekends, performing at private and corporate parties, as well as at Sea World San Diego during the summer. Ana, on the other hand, pursued her education and worked as a substitute teacher, occasionally doing balloon twisting at family parties and work events.

In 2009, John and Ana adopted their two sons, John Jr. and Jeremiah, and in 2012, they adopted their daughter Johanna. As their family grew, so did their passion for entertainment. They decided to turn their side business into a full-time venture and started JLO Magic & Entertainment in 2013. Since then, they have expanded their services to include face painting, airbrush temporary tattoos, caricatures, henna tattoos, a photo booth, cotton candy, and snow cones.

Our Services

Our magician, John London, has been amazing audiences with his fun-filled magic act, complete with close-up magic and table-to-table strolling. Our balloon twisters can create everything from simple to elaborate designs, from animals to hats and swords. Our face painters use high-quality paints to create beautiful and intricate designs, from animal faces to super heroes and princesses.

We also offer airbrush temporary tattoos, caricatures, and henna tattoos for those looking for a unique and creative way to express themselves. Our photo booth is equipped with fun props and backdrops, ensuring that your guests take home unforgettable memories. And to top it all off, we offer cotton candy and snow cones to satisfy your sweet tooth.
