Bumpers Funeral Home has been a trusted part of the local community for over 50 years. Established in 1965, we have been dedicated to providing professional, compassionate, and dignified service to families in Choctaw, Sumter, and surrounding counties. Our commitment to serving families extends beyond funeral services, as we also operate as a full-service monument company, helping families with all their cemetery needs.

Founded by Rocky Bumpers, who bought out his mentor Dick Causey in 1965, Bumpers Funeral Home has grown to include two locations - Butler and York. Both locations share a rich history, with the Butler location first opening its doors in 1961 and the York location in 1929. Today, the funeral home is proudly owned and operated by Rocky Bumpers and his son, Roderick Bumpers Jr.
