Our History

With a rich history dating back to 1919, Cedar Sinai Park has grown from a small, family-based communal home to a comprehensive senior living community that offers a range of residential and community-based care options. Over the years, we've remained true to our roots, embracing our Jewish heritage and values while welcoming people of all faiths and backgrounds to join our community.

Our residents hail from all walks of life, with approximately 25% identifying as non-Jewish. Rose Schnitzer Manor

Our flagship community, Rose Schnitzer Manor, is an Assisted Living community that offers a supportive and stimulating environment for seniors who require minimal to moderate levels of care. Here, residents enjoy a range of activities, including art classes, book clubs, and fitness programs, while also having access to 24/7 on-site staff support.

Skilled Nursing

Our Skilled Nursing program is designed to provide around-the-clock medical care and support to those who require it. Our experienced and compassionate staff work closely with each resident to develop a personalized care plan that addresses their unique needs and goals.

In-Home Care Services

We understand that aging often requires flexibility and adaptability. That's why we offer a range of in-home care services, from daily visits to occasional respite care. Our experienced caregivers provide full-service care in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

Adult Day Services

Our Adult Day Services program provides a nurturing environment for adults with memory loss or other special needs. Here, they can engage in stimulating activities, enjoy socialization, and receive respite care while their caregivers rest and recharge.

Downtown Affordable Housing

For those who require more independence, our Downtown Affordable Housing program offers a safe and affordable living environment in the heart of Portland. Here, residents can enjoy the freedom to come and go as they please, while still having access to on-site support and services.
