Arctic Lions Hockey

Arctic Lions Hockey has been dedicated to the training, development, and advancement of youth athletes in hockey for nearly three decades. Our family of organizations includes the Alaska Grizzlies Academy, Alaska Grizzlies, and Fairbanks Arctic Lions, each offering structured programs tailored to different skill levels and age groups. We utilize USA Hockey's American Development Model (ADM) curriculum to build foundational skills while incorporating NAHA enhancements for advanced training. Our AA and A-level teams feature experienced coaching staff committed to player growth both on and off the ice, with a focus on affordability and accessibility. The Arctic Lions provide elite AAA and AA-level opportunities through established recruitment pipelines designed to maximize player advancement. With a proven track record of preparing athletes for higher levels of competition, we offer programs for all competitive needs, from entry-level 3-6 year olds in our Ice Puppies program to elite 19U teams. Our commitment to safety and skill development is demonstrated through mandatory equipment standards and specialized clinics like our Goalies Inc. program.

As proud members of Lions Club International, we emphasize community involvement alongside athletic excellence. Our coaching applications and player tryouts follow transparent processes aligned with USA Hockey requirements, ensuring consistent quality across all teams. Through spring skills sessions, seasonal registration periods, and continuous player evaluation, we maintain a structured pathway for athlete progression. This comprehensive approach has solidified our reputation as a trusted leader in youth hockey development across Alaska.
