Who We Are

At Living Word Lutheran Church, we believe that everyone is part of a family, regardless of their race, age, or background. We are a community of Christians who come together to hear, learn, and live God's Word. Our connection is strong, and we treasure the unity we share, despite our differences. Our Mission

The mission of Living Word Lutheran Church is to preach and teach the Word of God to those within our congregation and to share the Word of God with those outside of our congregation. We believe that the Bible is the very Word of God, and we direct every aspect of our life and ministry by God's Word.

Our Worship

Sunday mornings provide an opportunity for us to gather together with like-minded believers to learn more about God as we study his Word and to respond to God's goodness with grateful hearts. We take the tried and true liturgies, songs, and prayers of Christianity over the past 2000 years and combine them with updated language, new music, and applications to everyday life.

Our Pastor

Our pastor, Matt Hennig, began his ministry at Living Word in November 2022. Previously, he served as a pastor for 16 years near St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2006 and loves studying God's Word and sharing it with others.

Our Staff

In addition to Pastor Matt, we have a dedicated team of staff members who help serve and support our congregation. These include Preschool Director Amy Lee, who is dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for our youngest members, and Preschool Assistant Melanie Bell, who helps with the daily operations of our preschool program.
