Our Story

Our journey began in 2013 when Mark and Julie Ferris took over as the proud owners of Little Pine Motel. Mark's family has been visiting the Pine Lake area since 1953, and over the years, he has seen many changes. However, the Hiles/Pine Lake area remains an incredibly beautiful and inviting place to visit, relax, and enjoy the lakes and forests.

Fishing, hiking, ATV/UTV, snowmobiling, hunting, or simply relaxing - it's all at your fingertips. The Ferris Family and the Pine Lake community warmly welcome you to the Northwoods, where you can experience the tranquility and beauty of nature in its purest form.

We offer large studio rooms that are equipped with comfortable amenities, each with a touch of the Northwoods. Each room is designed to provide a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for unwinding after a day filled with outdoor activities.

The Pub

Hungry? Thirsty? In the mood for some fun? Join us at Little Pine's Hiles Trailhead Pub! Open daily at 11:00 AM, except Tuesdays, our pub offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks while sharing stories of your adventures with friends and family.
