Associated Counseling Services (ACS) was established in 1991 with a mission to provide outpatient counseling and therapy to individuals and families in Southeast Missouri and surrounding areas. Our mission is to empower our clients to achieve their optimum level of personal, social, academic, and occupational success. We strive to provide a comfortable and confidential setting conducive to self-exploration and problem-solving, utilizing treatment options supported by scientific research and adding a personal touch.

Clinical Services

Our clinical services include a broad range of counseling and psychotherapeutic interventions to help clients reach their personal goals. These services include individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Our experienced clinicians work with clients to identify and address maladaptive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that interfere with healthy functioning. We employ evidence-based strategies to help clients develop new skills and strategies to manage stress, conflict, and problem-solving.

Employment Services

ACS is committed to helping employers and employees improve job success and productivity by offering pre-employment screenings and onsite educational programming. Our goal is to provide low-profile, high-impact employment services and consultation to local businesses. We provide pre-employment screenings, which include personality assessments, clinical interviews, and confidential reports outlining a potential employee's strengths, weaknesses, and clinical characteristics. We also offer on-site workshops and educational programming on topics tailored to meet specific company needs.

We believe that education and access to resources are essential for personal growth and success. We provide a list of helpful books and websites organized by category to support our clients and the community at large. Our resources cover topics such as marriage and couples therapy, parenting, and mental health.

About Dr. Jeff

Dr. Jeff is a licensed psychologist with over three decades of experience in the mental health profession. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling, and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Jeff is passionate about empowering individuals, couples, and families to achieve their full potential. He enjoys golf, reading, and architecture, and is active in his church with his wife and two adult children.
