Our Story

David Hoey, the owner of Hoey Construction, moved to San Clemente, CA as a teenager with his family from Colombia, South America. After graduating from San Clemente High School, David started his career in the construction industry, learning various skills such as framing homes and installing doors and windows. In 2006, he opened his residential remodeling company in San Clemente after obtaining his General Contractor's License. David's hard work and reputation have afforded him opportunities to work with prominent networks like HGTV and DIY, remodeling homes for episodes of House Crashers and Room Crashers.
