YOUR #1 TRUSTED BALTIMORE HEATING AND AC COMPANY
The Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that U.S. agricultural exporters have access to reliable, efficient, and competitive transportation services. Since our establishment in 1987, we have grown to become the principal voice of agricultural exporters in U.S. transportation policy.
Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who understand the intricacies of the agricultural export industry and the transportation challenges that come with it. We have a deep understanding of the needs of our members and are committed to providing them with the resources and support they need to navigate the complex world of transportation.
Our mission is to monitor government and commercial activity on ocean, truck, rail, port shipping, and other transportation developments. We keep our members informed about these developments and how they will impact their business. We also host workshops around the country, attracting top executives from carriers, ports, and transportation companies to engage in conversation with our attendees. Additionally, we lobby Congress when necessary to change laws that would harm agricultural interests or to support laws that will benefit agriculture. We assist our members on an individual basis with transportation-related problems and provide them with the tools and resources they need to be competitive in the international market.
Our Services
AgTC Updates: We provide our members with frequent email updates on all transportation developments. This allows them to stay informed and make sound transportation decisions.
Ag Shipper Workshops: We host workshops throughout the country each year to discuss current transportation issues in a roundtable forum. These workshops provide an excellent opportunity for candid discussion of concerns and to learn what other companies are doing to resolve similar transportation challenges.
AgTC Annual Meeting: Our annual meeting brings together members from across the country to discuss key issues affecting the agricultural export industry and to network with other professionals in the field.
Membership Benefits: Membership is limited to agricultural exporters and importers, freight forwarders of U.S. ag exports, agricultural trade associations, and state departments of agriculture. Membership dues are based on the size of the company, and members receive benefits such as access to exclusive resources, discounts to our workshops and annual meetings, and year-round advocacy with carriers and government regulators.
Ocean Carrier Performance Survey: Each year, we conduct an ocean carrier performance survey that ranks carriers from best to worst. This survey has served to motivate some carriers to work with agricultural shippers to improve documentation and booking service, resulting in tangible improvements.
Voice of Ag Shippers: We provide our members with advance notice of coming new policies and rules and take part in the policymaking process. Our comments to congressional committees and executive agencies give agricultural shippers a voice in federal transportation decisions.
Information Resources: We respond to individual members' requests for information and provide them with the tools and resources they need to navigate the complex world of transportation.
