The Summit Winery

The Summit Winery is a family-owned boutique winery located in Westmoreland, New Hampshire. Our owners, Darren and Judy Horn, have a deep belief in the importance of attention to detail and cleanliness in the process of making great wine. This belief has led us to expand our wine list from five to over twenty different wines, ensuring that every palate has something to enjoy.

We are dedicated to providing our customers with a unique and personalized experience, whether you're visiting our winery for a wine tasting, attending one of our many events, or simply purchasing a bottle of your favorite wine. Our philosophy is simple: we believe that everyone should have access to the world of good wine, right here in your local winery.

Our Story

Our journey began with a passion for wine and a dream to share that passion with others. Darren Horn, our winemaker, has been making wine for over twenty years. His experience and knowledge have allowed us to create a wide variety of wines that cater to all tastes and preferences. From our locally sourced New England grapes to our globally sourced varietals, we strive to bring you the best of both worlds.

Judy Horn, our Wine Maker Liaison and Chief of Moral Support, ensures that every customer feels welcomed and valued at The Summit Winery. Her warm and friendly demeanor makes everyone feel at home, whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just starting your wine journey.

Our Wines

At The Summit Winery, we offer a diverse selection of wines that cater to all tastes and preferences. Our wines are carefully crafted using locally sourced New England grapes, as well as grapes sourced from around the world. This allows us to bring you classic wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Red Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon, while also introducing you to unique and exciting varietals from around the globe.

We believe that wine should be enjoyed and shared with others, which is why we offer tastings with the purchase of a bottle of wine. This allows you to experience our wines and share them with your friends and family, creating lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for the art of winemaking.

Events and Classes

The Summit Winery is more than just a winery; it's a place where people can come together to learn, grow, and enjoy good wine and good company. We offer a variety of events and classes throughout the year, including wine pairings, seasonal dinners, charcuterie board events, murder mystery events, yoga classes, and more.

Wine Clubs

At The Summit Winery, we're excited to offer two great wine clubs for our valued customers and local friends. Membership in either of our wine clubs is free and provides you with special member-only privileges, including access to exclusive events and discounts on wine purchases.

Our wine clubs are designed to give you a more personalized experience and allow you to get involved with the winery on a more personal level. By joining one of our wine clubs, you'll receive four bottles of wine per quarter for a year, as well as invitations to special events and early access to new wine releases.

Function Room and Private Events

The Summit Winery's event room is available for booking private events, including bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, welcome gatherings, and birthday celebrations. Our event room can be reserved as a Half Barrel or Full Barrel, depending on your needs and the size of your event.

We understand that every event is unique and special, which is why we work closely with you to ensure that every detail is perfect. From catering to decorations, we're here to help you create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
