The visit to this winery was marred by a rude and condescending staff member, Edith, who prohibited children from entering the premises, even though it was stated on the website that children were welcome. This led to the family leaving without purchasing any wine or having a picnic, as they were made to feel unwelcome.

This winery falls in the middle of the pack compared to others in Amador County. The main issue is that they make too many blends, which may be hiding their flaws. The owner, Chaim, is a nice person, but his sales philosophy is odd. The service is not exceptional, and the wine is mediocre. However, the grounds are beautiful, and the pours are generous.
