For the Love of Basketball
We are a community-based group that organizes both recreational and select basketball programs in partnership with the Menomonee Falls Community Education & Recreation Department and the Menomonee Falls School District. Our mission is to provide a positive and supportive environment for young athletes to develop their basketball skills, learn teamwork, and cultivate good sportsmanship. We believe that basketball is not just a game, but a platform to build character, confidence, and lifelong friendships.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs for boys and girls aged 3rd to 8th grade. Our Rec League focuses on having fun, developing basketball skills, and learning to play as part of a team. The Junior Phoenix Select Program is our competitive league, designed for players who aspire to play at a higher level. Additionally, we organize Camps and Courses throughout the year to provide additional training opportunities.
Junior Phoenix Rec League
The Junior Phoenix Rec League consists of players ranging from 3rd through 8th grade. The season runs from January to the middle of March. The program emphasizes the fundamentals of team play, individual skills, good sportsmanship, and most importantly, to have fun! Teams are Co-Ed, and the league is available to boys and girls in 3rd through 8th grade.
Camps and Courses
The MFYBA, in partnership with the CE & Rec and MFHS basketball program, offers many opportunities for players to improve their game. These programs are designed to enhance specific skills, such as shooting, dribbling, and defense.
