Twin Acres Campground

We are a family campground owned and operated by the Gater/Jacobs family since 1969. We are proud to have many generations of campers grow up here and make lasting friends and memories. Whether you are looking to tent camp for the weekend, or stay the whole season, we welcome you to our friendly, clean, and safe campground, because we are "family camping at it's best!"

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Our amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, LP gas filling station, a pond for fishing and swimming, fire rings, picnic tables, and 30/50 amp sites. We also have pull-through sites available, depending on the season. If you need any supplies, our general camp store is stocked with essentials. For recreational activities, we have a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoe courts, and access to nearby trails for hiking and biking.

Local Attractions

There's plenty to do in our area. Just across the street, you'll find the Oak Openings Preserve, a birder's paradise with a variety of flora and fauna. For history enthusiasts, Sauder Village offers a glimpse into the past with costumed guides and craftsmen. If you're interested in nature and beauty, the Butterfly House is a must-visit, with over 1,000 butterflies from around the world. For wine enthusiasts, Majestic Oak Winery is nearby, offering wine tastings and live music on weekends.
