Briarwood Animal Hospital has been a cornerstone of compassionate veterinary care in the Jackson area for over five decades. Established in 1960 by Dr. Hugh Ward, we were named after the neighboring Briarwood Subdivision, reflecting our deep roots in this community. Initially serving as a preceptor for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University, we have continuously evolved with the advancements in veterinary medicine, always striving to provide the highest quality care for our patients.
