GATTIS Engineering is a civil engineering design firm that has been serving the Bryan/College Station area and its surroundings for over a decade. Our primary focus is on site development, utilities, pavement design, and drainage. We have experience in a wide range of projects, from residential and commercial developments to municipal infrastructure.

As a small and versatile firm, GATTIS Engineering provides a significant design focus, client dedication, and fast response time to all issues associated with any project. Our principal engineer, Joe I. Gattis, P.E., has over 17 years of experience in infrastructure design, construction administration, and materials and geotechnical engineering. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and became licensed in 2003.

Joe I. Gattis has a proven track record of providing sound engineering expertise and strong project management throughout the project completion to achieve maximum potential and cost-effectiveness. Services Offered

At GATTIS Engineering, we offer a wide range of civil engineering services, including:

• Site Development: We provide layout and design services for residential and commercial sites. Our expertise includes hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, drainage and detention pond design, and post-tensioned slab design and inspection.
• Utilities: We design water, sanitary sewer, street, and storm sewer systems for municipal infrastructure. Our services include stormwater management and S.W.P.P.P.
• Materials Engineering: We provide materials engineering services, including construction materials testing and evaluation, geotechnical site investigations, and environmental site assessments. Our expertise includes mechanically stabilized earth retaining structures and slope stability assessment.
• Infrastructure Design: We have extensive experience in infrastructure design, including highway design, traffic engineering, and structural engineering. Our expertise includes the use of AutoCad, HEC software, Microsoft applications, and Haested software.
• Hydrology & Hydraulic Analysis / Design: We provide hydrology and hydraulic analysis and design services for drainage and flood control. Our services include FEMA Letter of Map Revision(s) (L.O.M.R.).
