Our Services
We offer a full range of structural steel fabrication and erection services, specializing in renovation projects such as large infrastructure upgrades, full gut renovation jobs, building additions, and minor alteration projects. Our miscellaneous metal fabrication and erection services include millwork, counter, and vanity supports, as well as glass wall support steel and folding wall support steel systems. Additionally, our team has extensive experience in stairs and railings projects, from basic egress stairs and rails to complicated feature stair and rail projects.
Our History
Founded by Louis Kraman as a small blacksmith shop in 1913, Kraman Iron Works has grown to become one of the most formidable steel fabricators and erectors in New York City. Over the years, our family-owned business has expanded to offer a range of services, taking on larger structural jobs and miscellaneous steel work. Today, we continue to operate in the same office in the East Village where the company started over 100 years ago, with Max Kraman, the 4th generation owner, at the helm.
