Vic's career in photography started in the vibrant heart of New York City as a technical assistant for Vogue Magazine's fashion photographers, including the renowned Deborah Turbeville. Working on transformative shoots with Turbeville during the late 1980s was a pivotal experience that shaped Vic's artistic sensibility. He fondly remembers, "There were three photographers reshaping fashion in the late '80s and Turbeville was the only American. I was fortunate to work with her to create her dramatic images."

Thrilled by the power of the camera to capture life's moments, Vic ventured into portraiture photography in the 1990s, greatly inspired by the works of masters like Avadon and Scavullo. Their distinct styles influenced his approach to capturing the human form, adding a layer of artistic depth to his photographic repertoire.

After a successful career in financial services and computing, Vic's unyielding passion for photography led him back to his true calling in 2010. He embraced the opportunity to combine his technical expertise with his artistic vision, creating breathtaking images that showcase the beauty and essence of spaces and individuals alike. He explains his philosophy, "Photography always was and remains my true passion. All the stars must align to make a great photo, but mainly I look for openness, color, and sculpting light. The techniques I took from my fashion and portraiture work still steer my style today."
